California is Ferrari’s first mid-front 90° V8 engine with fuel direct injection. It’s an innovative car that brings back the memory of Ferrari of the past: 250 California of 1957. California is designed by the partnership between Ferrari and its partner pininfarina. Ferrari joined hands with its historic partner to create this elegant, exclusive vehicle. Ferrari mentions that after 60 years of excellence, they have created a convertible with retractable aluminium hard-top with an opening speed of just 14 seconds and is less noisy too. Its transmission is dual clutch and has seven speed gears. Another notable feature of California is its Roll bar that is installed behind the backrest of the rear seats adds to the safety of its occupants incase of a roll over. The maximum speed is 193 mph, fuel tank capacity is 20.6 US gal. The dimensions are 179.6 in X 74.9 in X 51.5 in with kerb weight of 3825 lb.
